Pure silicone raw materials are eco-friendly and tasteless, but silicone products have been screen printed, sprayed with touch oil, YM process, IMD process, Ray engraving, drip glue, water paste and other processes, after these processes are done, different flavors may be produced. This is extremely prominent in silicone products. Thus, the odor is most likely to occur in the various processes that are done after the molding process.

Usually, the processes that cause the most pungent odor in silicone and plastic products are: screen printing and spraying touch oils. Silk-screen printing may have an irritating smell, and the smell of silicone products will be obvious after silk-screen printing. However, it is not common for silicone products to have an unpleasant smell caused by silk-screening. These are normal phenomena, and the odor will be eliminated naturally after two or three days in natural ventilation conditions.
