Production Process Of Silicone Products

1. Artwork design

Customers offer the 3D or flat artworks in AI, PDF formats for manufacturers to do quotation and production.Manufacturer also can help draw the artworks according to customers’ design ideas.

2. Produce custom mould

Engineers input the artwork designs into machine and set up the program. More moulds means the shorter production time.

3. Color mixing and rubber compound

According to the Pantone book to mix and adjust the color master batches. The color should be more than 98% similar as the designated Pantone color.

4. Check rubber material

Eco-friendly silicone material with certain hardness. Silicone has different harness from 30 to 70 degree.

5. Fix moulds on machine and begin production

Installing all the moulds on the platforms of machines and waiting temperature of platform turn up to be moderate. For small items, the productivity of each machine is about 100 thousand pieces.

6. Quality control

The finished products will be checked by quality inspectors. The unqualified products will be scrapped or rework them.

7. Demolding and trimming

When the silicone products are took apart from the moulds, they will have excess edge (burr), after checking by quality controllers, the qualified products will be processed with fine finishing to remove the burr.

8. End products inspection

After trimming, the silicone products need to be sent back to the quality control department to check if there are still the defective.

9. Packaging

Individual OPP bag and strong corrugated box. Custom packaging is available.
