What Is The Difference Between PVC And Silicone Products?

From the material itself, PVC products are mainly made of PVC powder (polyvinyl chloride) and oil, color paste mixed and formulated, and the raw materials are made by heating and cooling through a micro-injection dripping process.
Silicone products are mainly composed of raw materials such as silicone plus color masterbatch, etc., which cause the chemical elements to be pressed and formulated by the rubber mixer, and the required raw materials are made in the mold and heated and cooled by the oil press. There are liquid silicone and solid silicone.
From the appearance of the product, PVC products are rougher than silicone products, and the surface of silicone products is smooth and colored.
Judging from the feel, the silicone products are soft and have good toughness and elasticity. PVC soft rubber is relatively hard. Both soft and hard can be adjusted, but PVC has no toughness.
PVC materials are common materials and eco-friendly materials, also called ATBC-PVC, and silicone can be certified by ROHS, which is eco-friendly.
Silicone products are generally made more transparent, the burning odor is relatively small, the product is in powder form, and the PVC product will be black after fire, and the smell will be bad when burning.
Silicone products are more heat and cold resistant in PVC products. Silicone products can be heated in a microwave oven, but PVC cannot.
