Is silicone elastic?

Silicone has two types of elasticity:

1. Silicone is a soft solid with tolerance and elasticity. It is mainly used for shock absorption and has elasticity in this regard.

2. The elasticity of the silicone button is called the load. For example, the silicone button of the remote control and the computer will bounce back when you press it, so this is the elasticity of the silicone.

In the molding process of silicone products factory, the operation of personnel, the modulation of the machine and the coordination of raw materials are the key to the toughness and badness of the product. Sometimes in the vulcanization process, in order to improve the yield and increase the production efficiency, the product that the vulcanization time is reduced will appear soft phenomenon. When improving the yield, under the premise of reducing the time, the temperature must be increased to a certain equilibrium rate, otherwise the product will appear various adverse phenomena, and the product that the production time is too long will appear too brittle tensile and tear phenomenon. It is suggested that the time and vulcanization temperature of the product should be properly controlled in the production process.

For raw materials, ordinary silicone will have some problems, such as service life is not up to standard, poor toughness, insufficient rebound. This is because the addition of too many additives in silica gel raw materials leads to different properties of the products. For example, silicone oil and silica lead to the confusion of production performance, the silicon atoms in the silicone resin are destroyed, the softening degree is reduced, and the viscosity phenomenon occurs. The flowability of the softening degree is not good, resulting in the decrease of the tensile strength of the product after high temperature molding, and the product will not be reflected after the completion of production. However, after a period of time of use, under the conflict of various environments, the product deformation, rebound rate, and product viscosity will gradually occur.
